remove cd holder from center console
hi,
small issue. a couple of quarters fell inside my cd holder, how do you remove the 6 cd holder in order to get to those quarters as that one of the cd's won't close?

Opinion to adding diesel to crankcase
All,
Has anyone added one or two liters of diesel to their crankcase before an oilchange? This would be to clean out the sludge.
Opinions or stories?

2500 is to much!!!
That is a load of crap. It took my dad 1 hr for the valve gasket (in and out) and 3 hours for the oil separator (in and out), There is a way to take it our from the side. That is max - max 5 hours...

So, it was hard to remove upper balljoint. you have to remove the cv shaft. so, so far, two control arms, left balljoint, both sway links. guess what, when we put the tire back, there was some play...

red brake light?
Hi,
Issue. Red means hand brake or fluid low. So, fluid is full and the handbrake is off? What else can it be? Also, just replaced the 2 sensors for the brake pads, but that light is supposed...

yes squeezed
the filter ends hav to be squeezed. also, you have to fit your screwdriver in the little holes of the side of the hoses. it is a real challenge to get to it.

It was very obvious. When i pulled off the A-pillatr, the hose was not inside the drain. they forgot to put it inside the hole. very obvious.
then, when i did the water test, i poured...

Hi,
I had 2000 323ci with the 2.5 liter inside and I never had this problem. Though, I to am getting the white cream in on the oil cap in my 2003 X5.
Is it a different system?
