I did a search, but I did not find any detail D.I.Y on lock removal, I have to replace my door Actuator and I think i also need to removel lock.

I think the reason why its so shine is because i took the pick a few min after i clean the interior. All the shine has faded now and the interior looks great :thumbup: .

Dont sleep on the X5, I have the 4.4l and it does haul ass when you push it. I sold my 01 540I 6 speed for the X5, and I am very happy with the performance. You just cant take the corners as fast :)

Qucik question about engine swap

Does the X5 4.4l uses the same Motor as the 01-03 540i ??, if so can a E39 M5 motor fit in a X5 ????, I was just curious because the engines look the same.

I am a victim of the FSR too, use the DIY to replace mine in 30 min without removing the glove box. WE all should mail back our FSR to BMWUSA. There should be a recall for this.

I have a 01 4.4 and I sometimes have the same problem, the starter will turn but the engine wont start at the first try. I know my battery is strong so I wonder what it could be.
