read the code with a ODB scanner and see whether there is any misfire.

I had that problem before. I used the OBD II scanner and it indicated cyclinder 8 has misfired problem. I replaced it and it works fine now.

I have a faulty fuel level sensor, and the "range" keep dropping to a single digit. There is plenty of gas in the fuel tank.
I wonder whether I would have problem starting the engine or the engine...
