Please see attached, I have been looking at this option for some time now. This option is available for LHD only, however This will fit RHD its just that BMW have not carried out any R & D....

I have found details of the retrofit kit (attached) but still have no joy with the coding (why BMW can't be plug & play!!)

Is there anyway this can be coded without BMW?

I have the blackberry pearl with the 8100 snap in and it works perfect. My only issue is that call waiting is not dispayed on the nav screen, but that apart all well.

Maybe you should consider the dealer fit option, its only £400 all in and doesn't need coding. If you ask for discount its even cheaper. I fitted this one and it was easy only took about 2hrs.

Retrofit Reversing Camera

I know there has been lots of talk around the X5 reversing camera, anyway I have just fitted the dealer retrofit option and it works really well.

Comes on straight away when reverse is selected...
