ticking at higher RPM
05' 4.4 at higher rpm or under a load has a ticking or sputtering noise that seems to be coming from the right rear exhaust. Dealer says the muffler is fine and they cannot detect any leaks. ...

exhaust leak or pcv valve?
I am hearing sound that would be charcteristic of an exhaust leak from my 05, 4.4, 25k. Could I be mistaken this noise for a PCV valve?...or do these motors have a history of leaky exhaust gaskets?
