I tried to kinda talk my way into having the dealer check the alignment for me at NC, and it was a no go. They charge me $280 just to check if needs aligning.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait...

I wanted to revive this topic to see if anyone has perhaps also experienced this. My 4.8 E70 has about 750 miles on it, and for a while it seemed as if that horn/trumpet sound had almost gone away....
