Regulator cost me $180 with tax!

Ok, Got the window to go back up with the remote....

Ok, Got the window to go back up with the remote. Goes up very slow. Goes down normal speed but need to keep my finger on it. One touch operation to make the window go up or down is not working. ...

Read how to replace regulator, however How do I know if it is the motor or just the regulator? Is there some sort of diag that I can tell by?
