Just an update for you guys if ur having a smilar...

Just an update for you guys if ur having a smilar problem... i changed my power steering pump and the noise went away... hope this problem doesn't drive you guys nuts like it did me! :dunno:

I just replaced the idler pulley n the noise is still there, I sprayed all purpose lubricant n the noise goes away for a few seconds n comes back... anyone?

i have read around that water pumps may cause...

i have read around that water pumps may cause similar noises, im not sure if this may help, but when i applied a little bit of belt grease, the noise disappears for a few days n then come back slowly

well heres what my mechanic said, my oil filter housing is dry so the gasket was done right... i have oil pooling in two places... engine...

hey fellas... i took it in this morning, they cleaned everything off and put a dye in it to see where and if its leaking... hopefully it was just old stuff that seeped down... ill keep you guys...

yes thats it... it was corroded on the inside, but lucky for me mrbmwx5 lives nearby and i got in touch with him and got the whole ballast with the bulb holder from him and put it in and it works...
