Try resetting the battery for sure, unplug...

Try resetting the battery for sure, unplug negative battery for about 15-20min, and see if that helps. I think you are the first person to still have this issue after replacing the unit.

looks like e53 and e39 uses the same slipring...

looks like e53 and e39 uses the same slipring part, also the relay is a universal fit, sot everything should be straight fit. Gonna doing the swap soon, so i'll keep you guys posted.
