When you did the regulator did you replace the plastic clips that hold the window or did you (or the shop) re-use them? I suspect your window fell off the track because new clips were not used.

Is this a symptom of a bad Final Stage resistor? I've had the problem on other cars before (Porsche and BMW), but why would the blower continue with the key removed?

Peake? Are you sure you ordered the right model? Not all include the OBD2 cable. Most likely you will need to use a Peake tool to reset the SRS Airbag light.

not that I know how to remove it, but in 10 or so BMWs over the years, I have yet to see a part glued to the body. Try the part ETK or realoem.com to see if you can figure out how its' assembled.

Well, good luck. I would still definitely look to another shop for an opinion...a shop warning you a head of time that they may damage the motor "looking for additional problems" is a red flag to me...
