Nav recode to fix Arrival Time

I'm currently running V26 hacked.

The only problem I have is that the Arrival time seems wrong. The Arrival time can vary by up to x3.

I know this is a 'known' problem and I expected this to be...

Hi,

Now that the nav system has been opened up. A few people have mention hacking the voices to replace with Homer/Raster etc.

I thought it may be an idea to start a new thread to explore this....

I beleive they are a variation on the ADPCM format, rate 16000..well I can recognise the voice when played using this format.

Instead of trying to change the screen. Why don't you try to change a boring bit of text emedded in the navboot file.

Make it a very minor change. And then see if that is loaded ok i.e just swap...

When I did my install on a 2004 X5 with nav without DSP, I had a quadlock connection and you have to burry down to the radio to make the connection.

Handy hints:
1) Don't leave the ignition on...
