Yes, but the roll out deck was in the up position so that I could access the battery/tire compartment, thus preventing me from getting to the manual trunk release.

I hooked up a battery charger...

I needed to change out my battery so I looked up how to do it here. Got the battery out and went, exchanged it, came back and couldn't open the trunk lid. Any ideas as to how to open it...

has anyone seen the CV Boot with a "zipper" on it? You dont have to take the shaft off. You simply remove the old one(cut it off) and put on the new one.

Anyone know where to get them?

I know that GM puts a Black Box on all of its vehicles to track speed, braking, air bag deployment and such, does anyone know if BMW has the same thing installed on their vehicles?:confused:
