PDC malfunction problem

I am getting a PDC malfunction message. I ran a scan with Carly for BMW and got the following:

Fault: Converter cable VMR
Code: 009E3A

Please help to point me in the right direction to be able...

Changed alternator...Ipod integration kit hums

Is it advisable to use Techron for PM just prior to an oil change, or is it only to be used if the engine runs rough? Trying to protect the engine and fuel system from poor quality fuel.:confused:
