That's ridiculous. I rebooted the iPod but still can't fast forward. Nevertheless, I'll try the random mode to see if it works.

I wonder if anyone else has found a workaround?

Can't Fast Forward after iPod Your BMW Install

So I just got an iPod your BMW kit for my 2002 X5 3.0 with Nav. Problem is that I can't fast forward or rewind from either my radio controls in the center console or from my steering wheel controls....

Answered my own question, it looks like it will...

The ride is black/black w/Nav. So far, the only mods are chrome tips and chrome BMW license...
