I run the IV2 now and never had a problem with it.

I just find it odd that after taking the TCU appart, there's a BT board inside the TCU assist module along with the cell phone board for the assist. I find it hard to believe...

I have the same TCU (84.11 6952218-01) problem. Car was an 8-04 build date and the TCU is a 7-27-04 date.
The module has a BT board in it and it has the Farka connected to the TCU and the BT antenna...
