When the issue is so slight.... you can not assume. I would verify the rotors to be true. And most importantly, that the wheels are balanced properly especially when it comes to these larger wheels....

I paid about $1000 for both CV boot replacement plus bushing. (Kuni BMW in Portland). Most of the cost is the labor (75%)

Strictly BMW prices are very similar to dealer when called them for quotes too. I had to buy new components for a melted lamp socket and strictly BMW parts guy was not as sure about the replacement...

Start planning to replace as soon as you see the tear. You don't want dirt(gravel) getting in there ..... worse loosing all the grease from the inside
