I don't understand the point of the big holes in the M-Sport bumper than have honeycomb that is just solid plastic. Looks stupid.

I still reserve final judgement until I see the car in person...

It used to be in the past that it was a no brainer that I would replace my BMW with another BMW. Next year we are going to replace our X5 and I am not convinced I am going to stick with BMW....a lot...

Has anyone test driven the new Ford Explorer Sport? Tried the Ecoboost engine in a F150 and was impressed.... I like how the Explorer looks...still not quite a X5 but it's $25k cheaper.

That is so funny you mention that. I have soft close doors on my M5 and whenever I drive my wifes car it takes 2 or 3 times to close the doors properly. HAHAHA

Little more info on new hitch...

Not a lot but I learned two things:

1. Due in September (got delayed slightly)
2. Will *NOT* require cutting of factory bumper

I figured out the problem. You actually have to link the phone TWICE. Once from within the telephone section of iDrive and once within the audio section of iDrive. You select the same BMW*****...

Bluetooth Streaming Audio Issue

Hi everyone. My iPhone4 pairs up perfectly fine with the bluetooth in my X5 but I cannot get the Audio Streaming portion to work. Any suggestions?

Talked to my SA. She was pretty surprised on the black versus titanium. She was 99% sure the car should have come with titantium. She is going to talk to corporate and get back to me.

I have no idea why it didn't come with titanium grills. I didn't even know that it did??? No freebies whatsoever which is a shame...but at the end of the day we got it for a few pennies over invoice...
