Problem with CD player

I have been having problems with my Cd player lately. When I put in a cd, the quality of play is good. After a while it starts to deteriorate. It sounds like its cutting off or choppy. Any ideas...

Does gear selector light stay on all the time? Is this normal.

Another newbie question.

Just wondering if it was normal for the little light next to the "P" on the gear selector to stay on when car is OFF?

Buttons on Climate Control are stuck? WTF

I had just posted a thread re: the climate control unit not turning off. Suddendly are the buttons are stuck. Air is blowing at the last settings? :wow:

Tried it. Now guess what happended? All of a sudden none of the buttons on the climate control work! It's stuck. Does this have something to do with the Final Stage Unit?

I pressed it incrementally but does not stay off....

I pressed it incrementally but does not stay off. Only for a split second; or if I'm pressing it will the climate control turn off. I'm lost. :tsk:
