UPDATE
I tried to install the adapters from Motorsports Hardware and had to discover that they were not 74.1mm to 72.56mm adapters, but instead 72.56mm to 74.1mm. So exactly the opposite of what I needed to...

while I understand your experience, I did not order anything from H&R.
The 10mm 74.1 hub to 72.56 hub adapter kit I purchased from Motorsport Hardware comes with M14x1.25 bolts.

The adapters I ordered are not H&R, they are Motorsport Hardware. They are only 10mm. My research also indicated that the E39 and E70 have the same hub and bolt pattern. I will provide an update when...

Yes it does. At first I kept getting the message "CD ERROR", but now my MP3 CD is playing just fine.

XM RADIO WITH NAVIGATION
