Hey KT,
Have you tried doing a system reset yet? That clears these little glitches up about 95% of the time. All you need to do is disconnect the negative battery terminal of your X5 for about 30-40...

I have had some success with having customers...
I have had some success with having customers move the unit itself and mount it to a different surface in the vehicle.
If that doesn't work, another possible fix that usually helps as well is...
