replacing struts
Need to replace my 2005 x5 4.4i struts. Questions:
1- where can i buy them on the internet ( forget the dealer!!!)
2- do I need to buy the mounting plates as well?
3- what brand you recommend?

Driving in snow HELP
Have 2005 4.4i w/ four brand new Michelin M\S tires. Going to NC mountains Sunday, weather calls for 20F temp and snow. Do I need chains? Not going off road, but some gravel roads

Tire size
My X5 uses 255 55 18 but I want to install Michelin LTX M/s that only come in 245 60 18 . Will this greatly affect the handling and safety?

2005 X5 4.4i, can I use 245 x 60 x 18 instead of 255 x 55 x 18 ? Michelin doesen't make the 255 x 55 in the LTX M/S , I need the LTX for the farm

water inside car
After heavy rains there is water next to the rear seat, close to the door. Could this be from the door or the sun roof? All door seals OK

What is covered under warranty?
2005 ( bought new June 2005) X5 4.4 i 45,000 miles, still under original waarranty. The driver door rubber seal is broken. The headlamps lense is very opaque, sometimes I find water inside lens.
