I have the DVD drive. Thanks for the confirmation about the difference in discs. I'm surprised to read that as the Navteq website gave me the same part number for 5 and 7 series discs as for the X5...

Bought my beloved, traded-in M5 from them (thanks, Fairfax County, for forcing me to mend my evil ways). Got my X5 from them. They are easy to deal with and have a good service department, too.
