Extremely loud taping noise in engine

I previously had an engine problem where the lifters and headers were replaced in my engine but this noise sounds different and is 10 times louder. I am unsure what it is.

Its a 2008 3.0L X5 only...

Yea I think the frequency does change when I increase the blower speed.

Does this mean I need to replace the blower motor? Also any idea of what this would cost since I am out of warranty? Thanks

Yea because it takes an absolute genius to change the coding on the key fob even with straight forward directions. I think ill take my chances ordering the cable and possibly having my x5 blow up on...

I have a 2008 X5 3.0 and have a tapping noise coming from the engine when I start it up sometimes. This noise does not happen every time I start it up. I have brought my car to the dealership 4 times...

You need to use the tap wire tool that comes with the Valentine 1 to top into the 12v line that runs above the reading lights in the middle. I think its a blue wire u need to tap into.
