Now what? Replaced the alternator, the battery and the starter and issue continues. Vehicle drives ok for a while then, the slow cranking BS starts again. Makes the X5 kick in to trans failsafe prog....

In the Snow they are ok, but in the rain and dry pavement they are the best tire for the money out there. No road noise whatsoever. Just moved from Utah to Florida, and the tire performs amazingly.

At the end of October I moved from Salt Lake City, UT to Miami, FL. 2700 miles towing a 4500lbs trailer. My X5 is a beast. It sure burned a lot fuel, but it performed just like a BMW!!!

Take your time and buy what you want. Never driven a 4.8is but i bet those extra ponnies are fun. You can pay for a pre-pruchase inpection, and can give you a pretty good idea of what the x5 needs...
