I suppose it would only apply if you had nav.

The partsman checked both:

84 21 6 955 522 6th generation

84 10 6 969 268 7th generation

If the wiring is anything like my 03 M5 then the harness/wires aren't long enough. AFAIK.

I tried to move the sunroof switch closer to the drivers side but I couldn't get the harness to reach....

Great info. I was actually looking for the differences between the "Generations" of ULF.

1 question I have is since the 522 allows you to receive/read SMS messages in the vehicle's display does it...
