Ill do that, how do I go about getting the codes checked? If it is misfiring what am I looking at to fix it? Sorry about the questions but Im new to BMWs.

I had brakes done and they just did the pads....

I had brakes done and they just did the pads. They did mention that next time it needs brakes I will need the pads and the rotors. But I didn't go to the dealer...
