last week i have the same problem on my E38 !
I disconnect my TV modul, turn light works again, but the screen are already black.

Y replace my new MK4 modul with old MK2 modul and all works...

I'am leave in France, i have BMW E38 (1977). Original navigation system is MK2 with 4/3 display...

Last month, y change completly system with MK4 DVD avec 16/9 display.
All work...

Hello all,

this is my first post on this forum. I'am French and i explain my problem.
I have E39. In last year y update my navigation computer.
Old computer are MKI with 4/3 display (color)...
