I dont think that home sub/amp will last the winter. Home theater stuff doesnt have the same temperature operating range plus condensation will very possibly build up on the voice coil of your sub...

The vent thing I think your talking about (no pic) is so the cabin doesnt pressurize when you close the door. Its ok to partially block it but try to give it at least an inch or two of clearance.

I was told it is a possible mold buildup on something in the heating/ac system.
My smell goes away after the fans been blowing for a bit or im just getting use to it.

It was the MAF, as soon as the sensor was unplugged it held its idle fine. (I didnt drive it though)
A new MAF is 600 CND and its in stock.

The X just died

I was accelerating to merge and the engine failsafe msg came on and the engine died.
I removed the key and tried to restart it.
It started but it stalls out whenever I let it idle.
