My last two repairs weren't done at the dealer...they wanted almost TWICE as much as what I paid. My last repair, because it was a mysterious electrical issue, had to go to the dealer to insure it...

I'm done with BMW...had it with the non-stop...
I'm done with BMW...had it with the non-stop issues. Picked up the X5 from BMW w/out any repairs and drove the Cadillac dealer...left with a CTS V coupe...much happier now.

Wow, X5 repairs are expensive and too frequent
2007 X5 4.8 with 52K miles on it...driven 10 miles a day round trip to work.
Developed an oil leak...took it to BMW...$6400 to fix...leaking timing cover gaskets and alternator bracket...wtf???? ...

I am so done with BMW!!!
Found an oil puddle in my garage...looked under my 2007 4.8i X5 with 56K miles on it and found oil EVERYWHERE underneath...took it in and was told the right side timing cover was leaking, the left...

Odd tire wear...normal?
Both rear tires wore out the inside of the tire...$2500 for four new tires...not happy. Is this normal wear on the X5?
