I use my 1st gen iPhone with the USB port on my MINI - needs a special cable which connects into BOTH the USB port and the AUX in. Standard white USB connector will only charge the phone, not play...

No, but I believe it still has the Switch-tronic system - buttons on the back of the steering wheel to change gears manually. Remember that Alpina invented the system before even Porsche's Tiptronic...
