I got a hold of MaxSil Pistons and they do not just sell the rings. Funny thing is they have the standard pistons + rings for $1000. That's only $46 more than the ring set from the dealer.

No problem with aftermarket. Main thing is to make sure the vent tube is the same. Especially with the aftermarket warranties, save money, ride it hard and then get a new one. Piece of cake.

Rebuilding '01 4.4L Looking for Rings

Short story, blew a head gasket and now rebuilding 110K motor. The only part I can't find so far are new rings. Anyone know where I can get rings for a 4.4L?
