Does your right/left fog light turn on independently?

FYI... the right and left fog light turn on based on the direction you're turning the steering wheel. i saw this and thought my fog lights were broken, turns out it's an auto feature for the car

pretty interesting prices on x5's these days... i got my x5 back in nov of 07 for a new 07 model, msrp was 61.5k and i paid 55.5k. i'm surprised people aren't getting better deals

i just use the steptronic to do shifting and it's not a problem.. so maybe it has more to do with gear selection as some people pointed out rather than drive by wire and delay
