Any idea whats involved with fixing leaky valve stems seals. It's it...

04 4.8is blue smoke accellerating from a stop and sometimes at start-up??

My 4.8 with 94k miles puffs a cloud of blue smoke when accelerating from a stop and sometimes at start-up or reving the engine. I think its burn some oil as well. I just replaced the 2 crankcase...

1) On the highway when I stopped for traffic saw it in the rear mirror. Was driven 3 hours long prior.
2) On start -up at neighbors house 5 minutes...

Occational blue exhaust smoke that seems to hover

I just bought a 04 4.8is with 92k miles. Once in a while, once or twic e a day, I get good size ploom of blue smoke out the exhaust tips. Kinda hove there and then stops. X runs fine and has plenty...
