You might try using the wash feature, seems like that

reset mine as well...and I read somewhere that they had a problem with the washers causing the wipers to act up until 9/2003, might be related...

Problem solved without dealer intervention - whew...

It was simply my windshield mounted GPS. Apparently it was catching the eye of the sensor, so I repositioned it and voila, so far all is well!
Evidently this sensor sends out invisible lines down...

No it does not work except for Assist..I guess, BT is not
