Auto-dim mirrors/compass
The auto-dim on both the rear view and outside mirrors quit working and the compass is no longer visable. Anyone know if this is fixable without a trip into the shop?

Costco Tires/Alignment question
Anyone ever buy/install tires at Costco on their X?
The tech at the dealer also said BMW recommends an alignment every year. This seems extremely excessive to me. Thoughts?
