solutions-

don't track
track for brief sessions
track in cold weather
look in higher spec oil

FYI - toyo makes r888 in 275/35-20, 315/30-20! bit short but for track purposes the slight reduction in gearing is a small bonus.

was just about to post exactly the same advice....

was just about to post exactly the same advice. destagger the stock fitment, use front rims and spacers in rear as needed.

also- i offer this advice as it works for me- no need to get the tire...

wasn't there some talk of an 8 speed tranny? closer knit ratios garner more mechanical advantage....plus top gear is even more of an overdive for better hiway fuel economy.

the basic sound of v8s can vary by type of crankshaft arrangemnt (cross vs flat plane) or by exhaust manifold routing/design.

i guess most people are referring to crossplane with normal routing...
