I installed iCarkits ipod interface which cost me around $179 plus shipping. Easy install just uses harness plug of the disc changer . I did not run the harness for the ipod to the front of the car...

Had the same exact problem but had to figure out first if it was the bulb or a bad contact . Real easy fix after removing the tailight housing . It turned out to be both a bad bulb and the socket...

I've use Meguiar's clay bar and it worked well . Just make sure with whatever clay bar you use to keep the surface lubricated.
