I'm looking for a good used air filter housing lid (see attached picture) for a 2002 3.0. Anybody got one? I have a good bottom half to trade if that helps.

Sure, same basic idea as a heli-coil. That kind of repair can work (and the repaired threads will be stronger) as long as the pan is thick enough to install an insert.
