If I remember correctly the plugs were not...

If I remember correctly the plugs were not compatible with the OEM connectors. Therefore I had to modify the harness (or 2 wires in this case)

I really like the unit. Navigation is pretty good. I just wish someone would do a little corporate espionage and take the best features from each manufacture (Garmin, TomTom etc.) and combine them....

I couldn't agree with JCAPX5 more. I also have a e46 M3. I was really surprised how much I enjoy driving the X around. I don't freak out with every bump and curb I approach. The X is a tank.

I have the exact same problem. '06 4.4 with 55K miles. The idle kind of surges but the tach needle just sits at 500. The whole thing vibrates. Crazy.
