i would cover the doors up to the colour coded...
i would cover the doors up to the colour coded body moulding, as mine had not chipped above this level. It tended to chip towards the front of the front doors, and toward the rear of the rear doors....

Sorry i did not realise that the m sport models were made throughout europe as my dealer told me otherwise. All the more reason BMW should sort out some side steps, mudflaps or some way of sorting...
