02 3.0i here. four window regulators, drivers sear control module, Idle control valve. Spark plugs and did the valve cover gasket since i was doing the plugs. I have around 125k right now.

Looks like you bought the wrong filter. i changed mine two weeks ago and it was identical. my 2002 x5 3.0i was made in june of 02 and they changed to the different filter in march or april.

I dont live very far from the plant in Greer SC. there is a BMW museum close by. If you are ever in the area, make sure you go to the museum. I really enjoyed it, very interesting place.
