Bingo! Went to the dealership yesterday, test drove with the foreman, who acknowledged the problem. They did the alignment again and now it's perfect!

Has anyone had their wheel alighment off within 1000 miles of taking delivery of your X5? In my case, the truck drives straight (or almost straight), but the steering wheel seems to be not completely...

Congrats phattbam! It is a funny coincidence. I'm also getting the holiday credit and my deal is $700 over invoice. In all honesty, the 3.0 can be powerful enough, so may be it's not worth messing...

I understand. At the same time, Dinan has engine remapping software for the previous generation of X5 3.0, so maybe someone will come up with a similar thing for the E70.
