I agree, i do think they are a tasteful mod. Although I wouldnt dare drill holes in my front bumper if it wasnt absolutely necessary. i use 3m poster strips to put mine on for shows, they come off...

Okay one more thing that no one else has mentioned, your in a colder climate so I'm sure that your gas stations are using a winter blend of gasoline, they add more alcohol and other stuff to allow it...
