I should probably listened, my 07 E70 has a lot of problems, coolant leak, differential fail, adaptive headlight fail, sunroof not opening, oil leaking, door not opening, peeling trim, you name it.

You are right, those 3rd party warranty can be purchased anytime, the problem is they will require a inspection and ask you to fix all existing problems including oil leaking, which can be costly...

Hi,
I just got a used 2007 X5 and I can hear rattle sound when go over bumps.
I talked to a service guy and he said rattle is not covered by warranty and they wanted to charge me maximum 2 hours...
