Got the cover off, easy when you know where the tabs are and how it slides off.
I bought the pins "Universal Pin Terminal Repair Kit"...

HOW do you open lever connectors to add pins?

I know how the lever works to release the connector, but how do you open the cover to add/remove a pin?

OR what are these connectors official" called?

can you add CarPlay WITHOUT navigation?

Looking at X3's. Dealer says you need Navigation to make CarPlay work.
reading after market sites/add-ons - but very confused.

I had same issue - replaced sticking caliper with "re-manufactured" (and new rubber hose) and exactly the same issue - was getting SO much hotter and wearing out the pad faster than the other side....
