I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will confirm, but I believe the hub size on the x6 is slightly smaller than the x5 so you would have to bore our the hub.

But if you aren't a DIY'er and aren't comfortable with it, ripping off the front bumper of a $60k car isn't...

Just bought a black 2009 3.0 - picking it up today after they put on the trailer hitch so I can bring up the grill for tailgating.
