Well, we finally managed to make some progress...

Well, we finally managed to make some progress and seem to have settled on an initial diagnosis of detonation.

First step in a potential cure: better gas/less ethanol than the cheapo discount 91....

I suppose I can try "better" quality gas than the one from the discount warehouse (*cough*Costco*cough)...but my previous car (WRX STi) ran just fine on it,...
