What was their cost and turnaround- 3 weeks seems standard

On eBay a co. AutoECU1 does a repair service for $229 with a 3 week turnaround.

Agreed on the removal tip- I had no idea where to look.

AC808 Airbag Reset Tool - It works!

Light came on after doing work on car. Got this $20 code scanner / SRS reset tool from eBay. Here's the process that worked:

1. Plug in scanner

2. Turn key to position 2, not running but...

Replaced all 4 w Susphane poly bushings, used Energy Suspension grease liberally.

Noticeable improvements also in handling and no more noise going over bumps.

After replacing my transfer case chain, noticed a strong vibration from 22 mph - 28 mph that shook entire X5, making it impossible to accelerate normally. Since it was very strong at the center...

Front Driveshaft 15mm Spacer at Guibo

I don't have stripped splines on my front driveshaft but found this spacer on eBay from Russia. It looks well machined and pushes splines 15mm further into the Transfer Case.

I only found 1...

Hey guys, I'm going to replace the chain in a 2001 E53 4.4 w/ the NV125 transfer case.

From the 1st time I heard the rat-tat-tat-tat, I have not let it occur more than 4 or 5 times with light...

I just removed the entire wheel carrier and removed the hub 1st w a 5 lb. hammer, then the hub cover, the snap ring, then used the 5 lb. hammer again to remove the bearing.

I just replaced the front passenger axle in a 2001 X5 4.4 and now have a noise that increases with speed starting at ~20 mph.

The noise completely goes away if turning right at a certain degree...

What I didn't find yesterday but did today was the radio module under the spare tire.

I don't have the part number... but it's pretty easy to hammer it out. Do you use a 5 lb. hammer? It's tough if you only have a framing hammer.
