I find with mine that, when it's not starting, it will still sometimes catch and start for a split second, but die instantly. I'm guessing it can't be the filter as that wouldn't be intermittent...

The middle inertia-reel seatbelt on our X5 has jammed. I've tried unbolting it under the base and trying to feed the belt back into the mechanism, but it seems that the reel is as far in as it will...

Are you referring to the top picture? If it's the silver box, then I think that's for the built-in Motorolla phone, not BT.
