as i know, some BMW models such as BMW 2002+/7 series(recommend slim ballast + canceler),BMW 2005+/5 series are recommended to error...

someone mounted their ballasts on the wiper fluid...

someone mounted their ballasts on the wiper fluid resevoir and the fuse box.
They get warm, but certainly shouldn't be getting super hot. Most ballasts are mounted with zip ties or double stick...
